The New Chair
Announcement in Cascade Patch by: Alexis Farrow
Award-winning businesswoman Marie Fowler, President & Chief Executive Officer of
American Technologies, has been elevated to Chairman of the Board of Directors as announced by her company this weekend.
"I am humbled by this appointment," Fowler said. "It allows me to oversee our expansion and
re-branding. We have so many new projects and opportunities on the table. I can't wait to get going!"

Marie Fowler will remain President & Chief Executive Officer in the interim, while leading the Company's search for her successor. "We have a search committee comprised of several members of our executive team, as well as two attorneys whom we trust, Brian Poe and Michelle Simpson. I am the Chairman of that committee. We have identified several outstanding candidates, including one internal candidate."
There is already some speculation that the company's long-time Vice President of Development Daniel Fowler or Chief Operating Officer Cori Fowler will assume the reins of President & CEO.
"That is a possibility. Daniel has been able to run special projects on his own, and clearly is capable. Cori is a star in the making. She has been building computers since the age of seven! But our committee is looking at candidates inside and outside of our current infrastructure."
Once selected, the new President & CEO will report directly to Marie Fowler as Chairman.
"I will lend my experience and give wise advice to my successor. But I want to also give him or her space to develop and execute a strategic growth plan that will take American Technologies to the next level."
